The significance of the teachings of the Quran<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Noble Quran, as understood by the companions of the Prophet of Allah, Muhammad \ufdfa, and the Pious Predecessors of the Muslim nation serves as an instruction manual for all human beings up to the Last Day. Only the Creator is fully knowledgeable of the mechanics of human nature and the consequences of all that is put forth by human beings. As is mentioned in Surah Mulk, Verse 14:<\/p>\n

Does He who created not know, while He is the Subtle, the Aware?<\/p>\n

The importance of understanding the Quran and applying it in our day-to-day lives<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A large majority of Muslims today have restricted the religion to a set of cultural and traditional practices without trying to deeply understand the reality of the meanings behind the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah. An average Muslim youth with little to no exposure to the actual Islam, as practiced by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, would certainly not be able to taste the sweetness of Faith unless He actively seeks out the Truth.<\/p>\n

On the side of the coin, we have youth whose parents taught them how to read the Quran, focussing on memorizing it with the best Tajweed and melody, but never encouraged or cared enough to assist them in understanding it, pondering over it and seeking out guidance through it in a systematic and organized manner. So, as this young man or woman grows older, the Dunya starts to engulf their hearts thus taking them further and further away from the Treasures of Guidance present in it. They start to abandon this Book altogether, let alone understand it, and consider it as something they would never be able to relate to. \u00a0They start to seek out guidance from secular writers, philosophers, social media influencers, and celebrities instead of the Quran, the Sunnah, the companions of the Prophet \ufdfa and those who followed him.<\/p>\n

As a natural consequence of belief in Allah\u2019s oneness and the Prophethood of Muhammad, Muslims hold that Allah is all-aware of our actions and that He knows the outcome of our deeds. For example, if an automobile engineer designs a car whose engine uses a specific kind of engine oil only, it would be insane to pour milk inside the engine in place of that engine oil.\u00a0 Similarly, when Allah (How perfect he is!) designed our mind, body and soul, he did not leave us to our own intellects and desires. He gave us an instruction manual that governs how we should think, act, behave and live. If we oppose those universal laws (that are mentioned in the Book), the consequences of the same would be sub-optimal, and somewhat like the engine fed with milk in place of the oil that is used to promote its optimal functionality.<\/p>\n

In other words, all major crises that the world faces today would be easily minimized, if not completely resolved, through the guidance of the One who created us in the first place. This is sheer logic that could also be understood by a 6-year-old child. All sufferings, tribulations, violence, and bloodshed that is seen today are a result of man\u2019s inability to understand the meaning behind the existence of a Creator and how, we, as humans, should submit ourselves to the command of the One that brought us into existence in the first place.<\/p>\n
